Lite janay wali hay :(

Yup, as the subject tells you, KESC (Karachi Electric Supply Corporation) are about to cut the lights of my part of the city. This is a regular thing that happens everyday and I guess we've become used to it. Everyday at 1500hrs, at 2000hrs and at 0000hrs, KESC regularly cuts power to our area and we are engulfed by darkness for an hour.

However, the regularity has kind of brought a "bright" angle to this situation. Since we know when there would be no power, we have arranged our schedules around it.

Anyways, had my first visit for the root canal procedure today and the it was not that painful but the doc has given me painkillers just in case.

Do let me know if any of you have had root canal done, specially the part about it being "not" painful :)

Take care people, electricity is about to go away :)

Life

Life is what happens when we're busy planning!!!

There are so many ups and downs in life. You never know what will happen next. The most unexpected things happen to us when we least expect them ( I think that's why they're called 'unexpected')

Life is going well, alhamdolillah. However I am always in need for prayers.

Please also pray for my ex-colleague's mother who recently passed away. May Allah grant her a place in heaven, ameen

Prayers also needed for someone I know who lost their job. Its very easy to hunt jobs when you have one in hand but at this time of recession, job hunting when a person is jobless is very tough. Please pray that this person gets hired really quickly.

I've been neglecting my blog for quite sometime. Some stuff has kept me busy and I've been unable to visit or comment on other blogs as well. And now I'm thinking of shutting down my blog, of taking a break. To look beyond my monitor's screen; To see how the offline world looks like :P

Although I know I'll miss writing and probably will be back to blogging but I think this time I'll start an anonymous blog, keep my identity a secret, become a privacy freak :P

Anyways, keep well people, stay safe and keep smiling :)

Ramadan

Falling ill is one of the worst things that can happen to a person living alone in pardes (foreign country). From our childhood we have seen...
