Ah the sweet month of May signalling the end of Spring and the start of a beautiful Summer. Yeah Right.May and sweet, surely.May is probably the most dreaded month of the year.Almost everyone has their exams, tension, hope, desperation & failure..all these can be seen in the eyes of the people around you.Last year in May, I fractured my leg...long story, will tell it later.Anyways this year May has brought more sadness to me than happiness. My best friend is immigrating to Canada & ain't gonna be back for 3 three years, plus this is my last semester in uni so that has me down too.Four years is a long time and now when you think of it that all that time is going to end in just a few days....well you get the idea.
Anyways on a happier note, I've decided to try and blog weekly if not daily, and I owe it to this person. So you can thank/blame her for this.Ok then, thats it for now.Take care people.

Year of the Dog
Hi.This is for everyone born in 1982 known as the Year of the Dog in chinese astronomy.
People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people¡¦s confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. They can be cold emotionally and sometimes distant at parties. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues. Dog people make good leaders. They are compatible with those born in the Years of the Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit.

Wrong Expert Predictions
Some prediction made by experts that were wrong
Charles H. Duell, Office of Patents, 1899Everything that can be invented has been invented.
A Boeing engineer, after the first flight of the 247, a twin engine plane that carried ten people. There will never be a bigger plane built.
Lt. Joseph Ives after visiting the Grand Canyon in 1861.Ours has been the first, and doubtless to be the last, to visit this profitless locality.
Albert Einstein, 1932There is not the slightest indication that nuclear energy will ever be obtainable. It would mean that the atom would have to be shattered at will.
Decca executive, 1962, after turning down the Beatles. We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out.
Margaret Thatcher, 1974It will be years--not in my time--before a woman will become Prime Minister.
Business Week, August 2, 1968With over 50 foreign cars already on sale here, the Japanese auto industry isn't likely to carve out a big slice of the US market.
Popular Mechanics, 1949Computers may weigh no more than 1.5 tons.
Ken Olson, president of Digital Equipment Corp. 1977There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home.
Western Union memo, 1876This 'telephone' has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication.
David Sarnoff's associates in response to his urging investment in the radio in the 1920's.No imaginable commercial value. Who would pay for a message sent to nobody in particular?
H.M. Warner, Warner Brothers, 1927.Who wants to hear actors talk?
Gary Cooper, after turning down the lead role in Gone With The Wind.I'm just glad it'll be Clark Gable who's falling on his face and not Gary Cooper.
Response to Debbi Fields' idea of Mrs. Fields' CookiesMarket research reports say America likes crispy cookies, not soft and chewy cookies like you make.
Hewlett Packard excuse to Steve Jobs, who founded Apple Computers instead. We don't need you. You haven't got through college yet.
Thomas J. Watson, chairman of the board of IBM.I think there's a world market for about five computers.
Admiral William Leahy, U.S. Atomic Bomb Project. The bomb will never go off. I speak as an expert in explosives.
Marechal Ferdinand Fock, Professor of Strategy, Ecole Superieure de GuerreAirplanes are interesting toys, but they are of no military value whatsoever.
Irving Fisher, Professor of Economics, Yale University, 1929Stocks have reached a permanently high plateau.
U.S. Secretary of Navy, December 4, 1941No matter what happens, the U.S. Navy is not going to be caught napping.
Lee DeForest, inventorWhile theoretically and technically television may be feasible, commercially and financially it is an impossibility.

Random Thoughts
I counldn't believe my eyes when I logged into orkut for the first time.It was totally a different world.I found so many of my old friends from my school days and found out so many new things about my classmates (my new friends) from the university.Orkut.com really is a great site.
Anyways just wanted to say that the stuff I post is not always mine, sometimes I get it in email & sometimes I find something while surfing like the poem below.
Walking into the bathroom, already feeling the pull that comes after a long dry spell...
A cold winter’s night, saving on the heating bill, heater on low
The perfect mix of warm and cold water, definitely more warm than cold.
Hands under the stream, scalp tingly, the cold windchimes within-
intensifying the warm surrounding each finger
A thought: "forget that three time thing, nobody said twenty times was forbidden.
"Laughter, savoring. Looking into the mirror,"Why, hello there..."
Making faces, a pretend comedy show for friends, making them laugh
Mmm. The water just got warmer.
Washing the face now, warmth on the eyelids- one of the best feelings in the world..
Almost as wonderful as when a mother places cloth
on her child's irritated eye,
bringing her mouth to it,
and letting her warm breath through,
Soothing it with her grace.
Heaven is most definitely under that woman's feet.
Droplets lingering on the chin…
Arms are always the hardest; afraid they’ll be cold as soon as the water stops, they always are--until remembering to bring a towel to the bathroom.
Head, ears and neck, simple, But the feet
are another potential problem area.
Never been too fond of the whole water-over-the-sock thing.
cheaters.
alhamdu.......lilah The praise is............... for God.
